Clare Willow
Doula, Educator, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist and all-round lover of the divine feminine, based in Sydney’s Inner West.
My own journey from maiden to mother ignited an inner knowing of the power we women hold deep within us and how that can be accessed and channelled to achieve what we want!
I became inspired to work with women to remind them of this innate power and to use it to advocate for themselves and their babies.
I didn't appreciate being told how, where or when I should birth my babies and generally flip the bird at a patriarchal system of 'care' but know that is often the only choice many women have. As such, my passion became helping couples traverse and optimise the system to have the birthing experience they desire.

We hired Clare to be our Doula for all 3 of our babies. When preparing for our 3rd, we knew we wanted Clare by our side just the same way as we knew we wanted her 5 years ago for our first baby. As soon as we met with Clare we felt instantly at ease. She is extremely knowledgeable of birth and all things that come along with it like emotions, stages of the pregnancy and all that it carries within your soul. Clare is fantastic at listening and hearing your needs without sometimes me even saying them out aloud. She is giving of her time no matter how small or silly the enquiry might be. Hiring Clare for the first time 5 years ago changed my life, I didn’t know much about babies and birth back then except that I feared how to give birth. She taught us about the physiologically of how babies we’re born but she also emotionally believed in me and my innate ability to bring my children earthside. Never once did she doubt me and my capabilities to birth my children.
